EXAIR has released its Long Super air knives, which are said to feature an energy efficient design that minimises compressed air.
The Long Super air knives can produce a laminar sheet of airflow to blow-off, dry or cool wide surfaces up to 2438mm.
According to the company, the design minimises compressed air use by entraining 40 parts room air to one part compressed air.
This allows it to provide a uniform, high-volume, high-velocity curtain of air that has adjustable force levels, Exair says.
The units are available fully-assembled in 1524 mm, 1829 mm, 2134 mm and 2438mm lengths and feature compressed air inlets on each end and the bottom.
They can be supplied in aluminium, 303 stainless steel or type 316 stainless steel materials and do not have any moving parts.
According to Exair, the Long Super air knives are suitable for use wide parts, webs and conveyors
